The International Institute for Applied Companion Animal Behavior's mission is to function as a network of professional animals trainers and behavior consultants who are also dedicated to animal friendly methods. It is also to serve as a learning and research resource for applied companion animal behavior professionals (e.g., researchers, behavior consultants and trainers) and as an outreach resource for companion animal guardians, in accordance with the IIACAB Methodological Stance of promoting animal friendly approaches and avoiding aversive approaches.


The IIACAB is maintained by The Companion Animal Sciences Institute.
